We import and distribute books on contemporary culture, specialising in architecture, art and design. We have always sought to make available books that fall outside of the scope of the mainstream publishing industry in Australia and place them in the right bookshops.
Our publishers are from Europe, Asia and the USA. Some have an extensive publishing program, others only publish two or three titles a year but between them they put out some of the most interesting and exactingly edited and designed books in their fields. Each publisher has a unique vision and style, but they all fit together to make a coherent range of books.
In the words of our publisher Lars Muller, “(our) books are more than books. They are objects and need to be present in reality. You have to smell them, touch them and feel their weight in your hand.
